About AvCharts
Not for navigation. AvCharts is a planning aid. Use current official charts, a weather briefing and NOTAMs for every flight.
What AvCharts is
AvCharts is a free browser map for flight planning. It shows airports and runways worldwide, the FAA VFR Sectional, Terminal Area and IFR enroute charts over the US, US airspace, navaids, and live weather, radar and TFRs.
What it is not
- It is not an approved source of navigation information.
- It does not replace official charts, a weather briefing or NOTAMs.
- Data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check it against official sources.
